Radiology and Imaging Technology (MRIT) is a 3 year degree course which deals with different imaging techniques and sophisticated equipment to produce high quality images during any injury or disease. Various techniques including: X-rays, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, CT (computed tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), DEXA, Angiography etc are used in MRIT. In this program, student experiences hands-on learning in Radio diagnosis and Imaging. Students will learn & perform various techniques of whole body X-rays including interventional procedures including Barium studies, Intravenous procedures, HSG, RGU and MCU etc., and also various scanning procedures of CT and MRI. The course is designed in a way keeping in mind the practical advancement of the education.
BSC- Radiology and Imaging Technology course provides readiness to all students to enter as professionals in health administration and management. and take positions as:-
IGCMT has various tie-ups with Govt/Private Hospitals /Laboratories/Health Centres to provide Internship or Trainings to students.
SALARY: Rs.4 LPA to Rs.8 LPA
All those candidates who have passed 10+2 with Medical Stream with at least 50% aggregate and 55% Marks combined in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (45% in case reserved category) from any recognized board of school education
