Oracle Academy

Indo Global Group of Colleges is an Institutional member of Oracle Academy.  Through this program, students engage in hands-on learning and develop skills in Java Programming, Database Design, SQL and/or PL/SQL along with career skills such as problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking. The knowledge and practical skills students gain will help them advance their academic studies in computer science or enter the job market across industries.

QEEE Program by IIT Madras and MHRD Govt of India

Indo Global Colleges have become one of the participating institute in Quality Enhancement in Engineering Education (QEEE Program) of IIT Madras, MHRD Government of India. Under this program, all facilities are available in our campus for participating in Live Classes, Virtual Labs and Tutorials offered by IIT professors.

Various modules in this prestigious QEEE program offered  in our campus through IIT Madras are -

• Live Lectures & Tutorials: In this programme, a part of (about 1/3rd to begin with) of the selected courses lectures/tutorials would be delivered live from the IIT classroom to our campus using the tool via communications hardware being set up. The session will mimic a live session as much as possible, with opportunities for sharing and interaction between students and instructor.
• Interactive E-books: E-books have been specially designed for specific courses by highly rated teachers. Our students can utilise graphically rich learning techniques including text, images, graphics/animations, videos, audios, reference links, illustrations, presentations etc to enable a wider access to resources and material.
• Virtual Labs: This module provides virtual hands-on experience to students on experiments undertaken remotely. It creates an opportunity to work on a real lab experiment tailored to suit their syllabus and curriculum. It provides students and teachers alike, a chance to access quality resources and materials.
• MOOC (Open Courseware): Open course ware essentially constitutes a licensed mechanism of delivering courses online directly to the student. It enables customized learning anytime or anywhere learning through the internet.

   

IBM Software Center of Excellence (COE)

• IBM in collaboration with Indo Global Colleges inaugurated Centre of Excellence (CoE) on 20th Dec 2010 with the aim of providing world class skills, trainings to students free of cost on IBM Technologies. The centre is providing an opportunity for students to learn new skill-sets on the latest technologies and IBM products.
• Faculty and Students of our campus are trained & certified on leading technologies as per industry requirement through IBM Experts. Leading Software technologies includes RAD, DB2, LOTUS, TIVOLI, RFT, CLOUD, BIG DATA etc.

IIT Bombay - FREE Open Software Centre (FOSS)

• IIT Bombay inaugurated the Free Open Source Software Center (FOSS) at Indo Global Colleges. It is the first FOSS Center of Punjab, being set up as part of Spoken Tutorial Project of IIT Bombay, under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India.
• The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning, certification - FOSS  (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice, OpenFOAM, QCAD etc.
• Through this centre, our students are trained and certified by IIT Bombay (free of cost) on cutting edge FOSS technologies as per industry requirement
• IIT Bombay has joined hands with Indo Global Group of Colleges, Abhipur New Chandigarh for the establishment of North India 1st Knowledge Hub of IIT Bombay for the Spoken Tutorial project. Indo Global Colleges will start functioning as Spoken Tutorial IIT Bombay's Knowledge Hub (KH) for the entire Punjab state in first phase followed by coverage in HP & Haryana. As a KH, Indo Global Colleges will Nurture and spread awareness among the Universities / Colleges of said states on Spoken Tutorial project of IIT Bombay.

Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP)

Indo Global Group of Colleges has partnered with Toyota Motor Corporation for Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) for providing in-house training in our campus on the latest automotive technology and service techniques. With the help of T-TEP, Our Institute will be able to develop a highly skilled technical workforce, with greater career prospects in the automotive service industry.

Indo Global Colleges TIE-UP with BSNL for EETP

INDO GLOBAL COLLEGES are self-financed, unaided institute set up in 2003 by the INDO GLOBAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION to provide world class quality education to its students. It has been conceptualized by Sh. Sukhdev Kumar Singla, a great visionary Chairman of the Foundation.

Red hat Academy

Indo Global Group of Colleges, Chandigarh & Red Hat, Inc.-the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer Red Hat Academy in the campus of Indo Global colleges. It will  prepare students of the region to be industry ready and keep themselves updated with right technical skills by giving them training on emerging software’s, technologies, tools, certifications, working on live projects etc,  With this MOU, Indo Global Colleges and Red Hat are aiming to prepare enterprise-ready talent in India.

Ashok Leyland Skill Development Centre

• Indo Global Colleges is the first Campus in the North of India to have an MOU with Ashok Leyland Limited – the flagship company of Hinduja Group, one of the largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles in India.
• Objective of skill Development Centre at IGC is to provide hands on training to budding mechanical engineers, technicians to enhance their skills and employability.

EC-Council Centre of Excellence/Cisco Academy

EC-Council Centre of Excellence and Cisco Academy at Indo Global Colleges provides trainings, certifications for CSE/ECE students on networking, network and information security, ethical hacking etc.

PTU Incubation Centre

Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurship established by Punjab Technical University at our Campus in 2011 wherein numerous workshops and trainings are provided to the students in the field of entrepreneurship.

VIRTUAL LAB OF IIT, DELHI

Indo Global Group of College, New Chandigarh chosen as Nodal Centre for Virtual Lab, IIT Delhi for  enhancing practical & project skills of engineering students at UG and PG level.  It will cover all subjects of engineering and sciences starting from 1^st year to final year of engineering.  Main objective of this nodal center to enhance employability of engineering students by updating their practical and project skills as per industry requirement on emerging trends/areas.

RoundGlass Peace

RoundGlass Peace the world’s leading socially conscious start-up firm spurring innovation in digital health and wellness horizon had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indo Global Group of Colleges, New Chandigarh to offer most comprehensive eco-system in digital health and wellness. RG India has developed a solution by the name of “RG Peace”, for mental wellbeing education, awareness, proactive assessment, monitoring & on-line as well as off-line intervention, needed to support comprehensive development of youth. RG Peace has developed an evidence-based solution for students to achieve optimal emotional and behavioural outcomes through education, engagement, monitoring and therapy delivered through a mobile app and offline campus support. Objective of this MOU is to provide smart technology and the finest clinical expertise, creative and personalized intervention to identify signs of mental stress, anxiety and depression at its earliest stages and proactively initiate scientific treatment to address issues before they become serious disorders.
