IBM established Centre of Excellence at Indo Global College of Engineering, Abhipur near Chandigarh on 20th Dec, 2010. IBM in India since its inception has established itself as one of the leaders in Indian Information Technology IT Industry. It has emerged as the largest providers of middleware and has the second largest software business in the world and offers its customers comprehensive solutions to meet their e-business requirements. It is the only IT Company in the world that offers end to end solutions from hardware to software services and consulting. IBM shares the belief that India can unleash its true potential only through making IT available to and useable and for large number of people. IBMs community initiatives focus on education and children and leverage its expertise in technology to address such issues. IBM has partnering relationship in India with a number of institutions. This partnership between industry and academia will be able to drive evolving open standards based IT skills – essentially in updating the students with the latest technology.IBM aims to provide access to software, hardware, training, tools and books.
IBM Centre of Excellence at Indo Global Colleges aims at increasing the skill sets of the faculty and students of College which will lead to improvement in quality of technical education will help us in increasing the employability of students our mission and our ultimate goal. Such an initiative will be a step forward in realizing our dream of placing our college in a leadership position. This Centre of Excellence will enable us to conduct training for our students through our faculty enabled by IBM. 675 Students of our college have successfully completed training on IBM.
