Facilities

State of art class rooms & Drawing Halls with OHP and multimedia facilities.

The RIDGE RANGER was developed autonomously by the students, utilizing the facility and equipment made available by the College Workshops.

Hostel Facility Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls on the campus.
 

Transport:  Fleet of buses maintained for conveyance from Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and other important towns.

Internet : The institutes have leased, dedicated high band width (4 mbps) RF link for uninterrupted connectivity to the Internet. The whole campus is Wi-fi enabled.
 
Sports Facility

The college provides ample sports facilities to its students. It has established sports facilities for both Indoor and Outdoor games. It has well laid following play grounds:
 

(A) For Outdoor games:
1. Cricket ground
2. Football ground [110m X 70m]
3. Basket ball ground [28m X 15m]
4. Volley ball ground [18m X 9m]
(B) For Indoor games:
1. Table Tennis
2. Badminton
3. Carom Board
4. Chess.
 

The college encourages its students to pursue at least one game of his or her choice. Students regularly participate in various sports meets conducted by the PTU in different institutes.
 
 

Gymnasium: The Gymnasium is well set-up with the latest equipment and Exercise Trainers to guide the students.
 

Student Activity Center: The SAC caters to all the various technical and cultural student societies in the college. The facility provides for a place of practice as well as organizing events. It also houses the Gymnasium and other recreational facilities.

 

 
 

Medical Facility: The college has a primary medical treatment facility equipped with a 24 hour in-house Doctor for the hostel students.

 
 
NSS – The NSS unit of the college organizes programs like free Medical Camp, adult education and importance of girl child for near by villages. In the blood donation camp organized on 28th February, 2009 at the campus 444 students and staff members donated blood..
     

Some other activities organized by college are:

Debate/Seminars: Each student is provided with a separate topic for delivering a seminar. He/She prepares the topics under the guidance of a teacher and gives a seminar using modern means of communication viz OHP, multi media projector. These events are akin to workshop at a general scale with the level of involvement from the corporate world being greatly enhanced. The focus here is on highlighting the current industry buzzwords, which are best learnt in this atmosphere, then the class rooms.

General Tutorials: Each teacher has been given a group of 6 students to look into their personal academic progress as well as their difficulties if any. These tutes enable the students to build the proper teacher student interaction.

Canteen: The college has a large canteen, resounding with music. The canteen caters to the needs of staff and students. Lunch, tea, snacks and refreshments are supplied on demand. All items are served at nominal rates.
